Day 1: 430 miles to Meridian, Idaho to visit one of our favorite families Kelyn, Kim and Katie.   Fun times catching up and exploring their new area.

Day 4: Up the Payette River where Hannah had a one on one Kayak lesson with Holt at Cascade Raft & Kayak

Day 5: Family whitewater rafting trip through The Canyon section of the Payette.  The adventure was full of class 3 and 4's (check our the photo album page) and first time boondocking at the Pine Flats campground

Day 6: Salmon, Idaho quick stop over for work worthy wifi and long hot showers at the Stagecoach Inn.

Day 7: Missoula at the University of Montana Golf Course.  This was our first time booking a place with our Harvest Host membership.  We had fun golfing and the restaurant was delicious.

Day 8: Visited the People's Choice Market in downtown Missoula to pick up fresh produce and local jewelry them moved across town to Jim & Marys RV park.  Lovely little park like setting off the side of the freeway.

Day 9: Arrived in West Glacier and checked out the little Village near the RV park.

Day 10:   Sean and I were up early to hike to Avalanche Lake .  A quick 5 miles up and back for the most amazing view of crystal clear waters and waterfalls cascading off the peaks.  I could have stayed all day but we had to jog back to the car so Sean could make it to work on time.   The kids and I spent the afternoon on floating down the Flathead River.  We went with Glacier Rafting Company and out 40+ people we were the only ones who opted for inflatable kayaks instead of going in the rafts.  The water was really low but so much fun!!

Day 11:  Woke the kids up early to drive the Going to the Sun road.  Amazing views, incredible narrow road and quick hike to the falls for a breakfast snack and made it back in time before Sean's first call.  Then a little mini-golf and ice cream to close out the day

Day 12 I could not wake anyone up to go hiking with me so I hesitantly decided to go alone to Fish Lake.  I had bear spray, personal panic alarm, and found a big stick to carry while I clapped, sang and whistled my way to up the trail.  I saw 2 people in 4 miles and the biggest animal I saw was a horse on my way back down LOL.  That afternoon we spent on Lake MacDonald cruising around on SUP's and kayaks.

Day 13  Today we had to pack up and move to our next location but not before rousting the kiddos for an early morning hike.  John's Lake and MacDonald falls did not disappoint.  Moving onto Whitefish

Day 14 Up early and walking with Coco we found a trail along the river and an excellent cup of Cappuccino in the downtown area.  Then the kids and I biked to Whitefish Lake for a picnic and swimming.   That night we went to the local bowling alley for dinner and a competitive couple of games.   I was only 5 points away from Sean (if you have seen him bowl you know this is an accomplishment hahaha)
